Huda Beauty is one of my favourite brands and I have so many favourties. Her Faux Filter foundation (full review here) has been my holy grail ever since she launched it. What can I say, I’m just obsessed with Huda Beauty products. Huda Beauty Obsessions Palettes have more palettes to the collection and I’m just in love.
Huda Beauty added five new eyeshadow palettes to her Obsessions range and the shade range is incredible. Each Huda Beauty Obsessions Palettes are inspired by a stone and the collection is called the “Precious Stones” collection. I have enjoyed the Obsessions palettes before, and I was so mesmerized with the colours, I knew I had to get some of them. So, I ended up buying four out of the five palettes. I got the Ruby, Topaz, Sapphire and Emerald Obsessions eyeshadow palettes.
Each Huda Beauty Precious Stones Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is packed with a selection of nine metallic and duo chrome shadows inspired by the reflection of the gemstones. The palettes are packed with stunning shades of Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Topaz, and Ruby.
The matte shades are pigmented and creamy, and they’re buildable. They are quite buildable and blendable eyeshadows. I would say that the pigmentation is semi-opaque. Although, I have to say that the matte shades in the previous Obsessions palette were a lot more pigmented and blended so easily. It’s easier when you put on a primer and then go on with the mattes, but you still need to build them up; so I would suggest to just keep that in mind.
However, the shimmer shades are amazingly pigmented and blend like a dream. I would get these palettes just for the shimmer shades, to be honest. The colours are so gorgeous, and look so beautiful. The pigmentation is just amazing. The shimmers blend amazingly.
I swatched them and put them on my lids, and they look super gorgeous. The shimmers seem not to like brushes so much, and they apply so much better when you apply them with your fingers. A damp brush works well but not as good as it looks when you use your fingers to apply the shimmers.
These palettes are just perfect for travel. I really enjoy the size and I really love the range of colours. The shades are a good mixture of transition shade, highlights & crease, which makes this palette a basic for endless looks that you can create.
So, I can live with the matte shades building them up and I absolutely love the shimmer shades! I would recommend them if you want to play with colours. Because then, it’s just absolutely amazing!
What do you think? Did you get any of these palettes?

it’s time to be happy. I’ve read this post and if I could I wish
to suggest you some interesting things or advice. Perhaps
you could write next articles referring to this article.
I want to read more things about it! I’ve been surfing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never
found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth
enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more
useful than ever before. http://foxnews.net
