Autumnal Lipstick Picks

Autumn is my favourite time of the year, with falling crisp leaves, oversized sweaters, mocha lattes, cosy blankets, scarves and boots, and especially the fall colours. I love wearing all colours of lipsticks, but I get really excited for switching up lipsticks for the season. I usually wear matte lipsticks almost all the time, and I’m still sticking to them. Re-incorporating fall lip colours into my routine make me so happy!

It’s the perfect time to wear brown tones, nudes and berry tones. There are tons of shades to choose from, and shades that I totally love. So, today I’m sharing 5 of my favourite fall lip colours with you.

My everyday favourite for fall is the MAC shade in Chili — this shade literally screams fall to me. It’s the perfect hint of Brownish orange-red and I love putting it on almost every day. I really like MAC lipsticks and have a handful of them but, to me, this is the perfect autumn lip colour.

The next fall favourite shade and my favourite shade from Kat Von D is the Lolita II liquid lipstick. Lolita II is the perfect terracotta nude. It’s a muted, medium rosy coral with warm undertones and an ultra-matte finish that goes with almost everything and anything. The formula is very smooth and comfortable and is pretty lightweight. The lipstick never feels heavy or dry on the lips after drying up. The colour is just so perfect and natural.

There’s something about the anticipation of a new season that just makes me want to go on a shopping spree! So I did and I invested in a few things including the NARS Starwoman. The NARS Starwoman is a medium-dark red with a matte finish. I’m absolutely in love with this shade. The formula is richly pigmented with very smooth consistency. It spreads across the lips evenly in a single application. The lipstick doesn’t feel dry at all. It is a bit transferable and has a really nice smell.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Rum Punch is my favourite and it’s the perfect auburn colour, and it totally goes with everything. I love how the colour looks on my lips. The formula is beautiful — so creamy and comfortable. It’s definitely long-lasting and feels amazing on the lips. Some people have been saying it dries up their lips, well, I have been using a lot of the Anastasia Beverly Hills lipsticks, and that didn’t happen for me even once. It has minimal transfer, and I totally love using it.

What are your favourite fall lipsticks?
