Fall’s over here in Canada, and the days are really chilly and the sun hasn’t been appearing too much either. It’s finally time for cooler days, early evenings, hot chocolates and cosy blankets. It’s that magical time of year where the weather feels unsettled and leaves me reaching for a scarf. I really enjoy this weather.
I feel like this is the kind of weather that’s just perfect for snuggling under a duvet, binge-watching my favorite TV shows, reading a book, or take a nice warm bath on the weekends.
Take a hot bath. On a Sunday, the perfect way to relax is to take a nice, warm bath. Nothing makes me feel better and more relaxed than this. So, I’m not just talking about a bath.. well, I’m talking about adding a bath bomb, a bubble bar, lighting up some candles with a book or a magazine maybe, with bubbles up to your ears. Oh, it would just take away all the stress. I really enjoy doing this at home, and it really helps me calm my mind too.
Bake Something. I’ve always found baking to be one of my favourite things to do, and it helps me relax too. And the feeling after baking some of my favorite treats is even better. I love anything chocolate, so I’ve been making some chocolate treats, and it tastes amazing too!
Cozy up with a good read. Something I have always love is reading. It helps me relax and gives me the perfect time. I usually like cozying up with a blanket, a hot cup of coffee with some candles and read a good book. I’m thinking of reading The Lunar Chronicles for this Sunday.
Take Up A Hobby. Whether it’s playing an instrument, cross stitch or drawing, Sunday’s are the best time to take up a new hobby. I usually have several hours free, so I like to spend this time to myself doing that.
Binge watch favorite TV shows or movies. Well, Sundays are days when I have a lot of time to myself, I really enjoy binge watching my favorite tv shows. I would watch FRIENDS on repeat or watch Harry Potter. The best way to do that is by snuggling under a duvet with a cup of hot chocolate!
What ways do you like to relax on a Sunday?
